Magic Bullet Blender

Magic Bullet Blender

The Magic Bullet Blender may just be the best appliance I have in my kitchen. As far as small kitchen appliances go, this little blender does everything I want. In fact, I find myself looking for new recipes for Magic Bullet, just because it is so easy to use and clean!

Blender Container
I will have to admit that I HATE cleaning my blender. Sure, using it to make salsa and smoothies is ok, but the pieces take forever to clean up, and I always have the blender pitcher on the drain-board. That’s why the Magic Bullet caught my eye in the first place. While regular blenders have the 1+ quart pitchers, the Magic Bullet containers are available in single serving size. Did you know that you can drink from the blender container? You just take the container, place the contents of your recipe in the container, and screw on the blending blade you want to use. It acts like a lid on a Mason jar. Then, you attach the container to the Magic Bullet and pulse it until everything is blended.

Now, here is the great part. You can take the blade “lid” off of the container, and USE IT FOR A GLASS!
Ok, you probably think I’m crazy, but I LOVE THIS! Once I finish my smoothie, I just put the glass in the dishwasher, and I’m done! The only thing I had to wash by hand was the blending blade.

You know how, on a regular blender, the pitcher is so narrow on the base, so that it will fit into the power unit? But, the top of the pitcher is wider. The thing is top heavy, so once you finish blending, you simply must pour any leftovers into a container with a lid for storage. You can’t just put the pitcher in the refrigerator, because it will tip over.

The convenience of the Magic Bullet Blender, however, is such that you can use the containers for storage in your refrigerator, or for serving guests at a party. Just mix each individual drink, and serve your guests.

Magic Bullet Blender Carafe
If you want to make a big batch of dip, drinks, or salsa, you can use the regular blender carafe that holds more ingredients.

As they say on those enthusiastic “info-mercials”, I will add “BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!”
You can use Mason jars with the cutting blades. Do you realize how revolutionary this is? It means you never have to run out of blender containers!

So, I am “sold” on the Magic Bullet Blender. If you get one today, you will be glad you did.

How To Make A Weight Loss Green Smoothie with Magic Bullet?

Green smoothies are an ideal fat burning food as they are nutrient-rich, loaded with fiber and low in fat. However, there is an art to making a weight loss smoothie. These seven tips will help you create the perfect weight loss shake.

Weight Loss Smoothie Foods All fruits and vegetables are going to be great for weight loss, but there are a few that stand out in the crowd. Foods that are low in calories and high in fiber are going to kickstart weight loss. Some of the best ingredients to add to your weight loss smoothies are grapefruit, pumpkin (pumpkin that is cooked and cooled will have more pumpkin flavor than raw pumpkin), kale, apples (with skin), blueberries, pomegranates, chia seeds, raspberries, pears (with skin), strawberries, bananas, oranges, broccoli, celery, cucumber, carrots and all leafy greens. Weight Loss Smoothie Ratio A good ratio of fruits to greens that I recommend for weight loss is this: 2 cups of fruit to 3 to 4 cups of greens and 1 cup of water. Add additional veggies if desired. The following low-calorie, fiber-rich smoothie recipes use this ratio. Banana-Raspberry Smoothie 1 cup raspberries 1 medium banana, peeled 3 cups fresh baby spinach 2 teaspoons chia seeds, soaked for 20 minutes 4 to 6 ounces of filtered water Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend on high for 30 second or until creamy. Calories: 213 | Protein: 6g | Carbs: 47g | Fat: 3g | Fiber: 14.9g Mango-Peach Smoothie 2 small champagne mangoes or one large regular mango 1 large peach, pitted 5 ounces fresh baby spinach 4 to 6 ounces of filtered water Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend on high for 30 second or until creamy. Calories: 235 | Protein: 6g | Carbs: 57g | Fat: 1g | Fiber: 9.5g

How to Getting Started with your NutriBullet

Did the NutriBullet just arrive on your doorstep, leaving you a bit overwhelmed? Where do you start?

He made NutriBullet soon as they arrive on the doorstep, so a little "overwhelmed Where to start?
Do not worry. You are going to bring your health to a whole new level, and we are with you every step of the way - including the moment when you open your mailbox.
Let David Wolfe shows just where to start and once you make your first explosion, let us know what you think!

I have yesterday afternoon and had my first explosion this morning and I love it! I found out how to activate it, but could not figure out how if off - the instructions were not with, but it was! :) My milkshake was the perfect consistency, which meant that I added enough water - beginner's luck, I guess. :) I was simply delicious and I love my Nutribullet !!

I bought the ball a few days ago, and I've done some tests ... but no matter what combination I I just can not seem to get the right consistency.
I love the taste, but I can not get over the thickness. Is there anything I can try to make more of a liquid. I've tried putting only to dilute the taste more water and eat less, but that seems is not the thickness

I can not start this machine and I am soooooooo frustrated. I have all my fruits and vegetables and wash in a large cup as instructed. I put the cup on the bottom and nothing happens when you press down and not turn on. How do I make this work. I'm hungary!

Hi Carol! Please call our customer service and are happy to help you! 1-855-346-8874

I have not not start the same problem mine. I am so disappointed because I was looking forward to it, but my bad luck it seems. there was not even a manual or even a brochure that provides information on troubleshooting or turn on the device.

Hello, Sheena! I'm sorry to hear that. Please contact our customer service for help troubleshooting help or acquire other necessary documents! Toll Free 1-855-346-8874 or send a message

I am very grateful for this video because even after reading the manual that came nutribullet, I realized that I needed to "press and turn clockwise" to start the machine. I can not believe that these words have not been included in directiions. (maybe I have it somewhere, but I could not see him 'Just saying. "Extract." I was like, "HOW ?????? !!!!!"
Thank you for showing me how to turn this thing !!!!!! (And out!)

I have never, ever seen infomercials. I accidentally saw this, thought at first that it was a documentary high nutrition. Haaa! This is the car that I waited. I like most vegetables and fruits all pretty good, but to be honest I never five a day, because the time and the necessary organization.
There is (105 €) and from 2 February my husband and I were the treatment for two raw meals every day. Trade costs fall, as there are so many fruits and vegetables you can fit in a glass Nutriblast (and believe me, I stuff full).
My goal for 50% of vegetables and 50% fruit, add half a teaspoon of turmeric a smoothie [to see the amazing benefits here: http://whfoods.org/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=78, a teasp . Goji berries to ensure I mean antioxidants, a fat slice of ginger root as an anti-inflammatory, some wheat germ, almonds 8, while for the fat, and flit. Absolutely delicious.
And so crowded that I go from breakfast to lunch, without a thought of snacking on waste. A further 50% vegetables 50% fruit smoothie for lunch (which I do in the morning, I know it's not ideal, but it's better than the junk I used to eat). Dinner cooked. I can feel the weight fall only as a pleasant side effect.
My Favorite Smoothie so far is half (cooked) beetroot, celery, a few frozen strawberries from our garden, 8 almonds, carrots more turmeric Goji etc above mix. Normally I hate beets, now I feel like Popeye!

Sound good of product : Magic Bullet User

Chuckin the blender out the window
"Sipping on a smoothie now.. Made in 30 seconds!! Love it!!!!!"

5 stars, if you understand what it is
Pros: great little smoothie maker for a low price
Cons: not a vitamix equivalent
Model Number: MBR-2501
"I love my Magic Bullet. I use it at least once a day to make a healthful smoothie. And there are a lot of options as to size of cup that you blend your smoothie in, and then just remove the blade and off you go, you can start sipping.
No, it's not equivalent to a $400+ Vitamix. It will NOT pulverize a whole carrot or whole apple. If you want to put kale in your smoothie, cut out the rib and the smoothie will be smoother. For the price, this basic Magic Bullet can't be beat."

Great purchase!
Pros: lots of accessories, runs well
Cons: occasionally see very small leak thru blade piece
"I'm so surprised to see all the negative reviews of this product--we've had ours for years, and it still runs strong. That said, we do not ever try to chop ice or use ice in our smoothies. We simply throw in the organic frozen berries from Costco, some juice, some milk, some Greek yogurt, and chia seeds, and it comes out as the perfect consistency smoothie. We even add spinach or whatever greens we might have on hand, and the Bullet blends it all perfectly. My wife doesn't love the chia seeds, but if we use the other blade first just on the seeds, it turns them into a powder--it just works perfectly. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that occasionally we do see some of the smoothie on the underside of the blade (where the gear is), and that's a little troublesome--I'd like to think that's a tight seal, but I guess not. Overall very happy with it though."

Love it -- Quite Useful
Pros: small footprint, fast, easy to clean
Cons: can't think of any cons
Model Number: MBR-2501
"I found the Magic Bullet so useful in such a short time that I went online and purchased one for my daughter. She also has found that she is using it more than her old blender. Very easy to use and clean. Fast. small footprint."

Good for the size and price
"I love this Bullet machine. It is small and compact and TOTALLY worth the $34.99 (not including tax) that I paid. I don't know why other reviews say that this machine is loud because it is as loud as any other Juicer and/or Blender that I've purchased (purchased a Breville, and other high quality juicers). I don't think that this Bullet is loud and love it..It makes DELICIOUS smoothies and even can make soup. I haven't used Ice in this juicer but I have used carrots so I know that the blades can handle hard objects. I love this lil thing"

Good for an apartment
Pros: easy to clean, variety of cup sizes
Cons: could be more powerful
"This product is perfect if you live in an apartment or have a small kitchen. It's nice to hot have to clean an entire blender when you just want a 1 cup fruit smoothie. I find you have to add A LOT of water for the Magic Bullet to crush up frozen fruit, but then it works. Bit of a learning curve. The different sizes of cups come in handy as do the various lids. I have yet to use the pitcher attachment but perhaps I will some day. Haven't tried more than fruit in it yet, so can't speak to anything but that. I recommend the frozen organic berries from Costco - mmm!!!"

Great value
Pros: stays on my countertop easy to travel with, easy cleanup great value for the price
Cons: be prepared for how fast it works!
"I bought this yesterday after deciding I wanted to make a juice/vegetable drink every day. I made a drink quite effortlessly today and it worked beautifully. It's so powerful it gave me a scare at first! It's a great value and I hope to be able to use it daily for a long time. The travel cups are wonderful because I can take a drink along with me when we travel to our kids. I looked at the larger nutribullet models but I think this will work out just fine for the juices and smoothies I intend to make. The only place I would buy it at is Costco since if it turns out it's not as great as it seems to be right now, then I can return it and choose something else but I don't anticipate that happening."

Great Product
Pros: fast to access/use, easy to use, easy to clean
Cons: none
"This product has worked flawlessly for me. I shove it full of vegetables and fruits, whipped cream, etc. Whomever stated it only mixes protein powder perhaps did not know which blade to use! That is important. Love this item, use it more than any other in my kitchen."

Very, very happy!!!
"I bought this product a number of years ago for home and recently bought another one from Costco for the office. I have never had any problems with either of the two. I use it daily to make blended fruit/vegetable drinks, grind and mix foods. I definitely love the 22 oz. Bullet-On-The-Go™ mugs. So, so happy...two of the best purchases ever made!"

Poor and Unhappy reviews with Magic bullet other user.

Good concept, poor quality
Pros: quick and healthy
Cons: it leaks easily clean up difficult
"I am now on my second Magic Bullet in under two years. I love smoothies and am grateful the Magic Bullet came out to make the transition easier to eating healthy. The problem is, they don't last. I am not rough on the machine. I strive to not overfill. With the first one, I added all my smoothie ingredients at one time and then blended. I thought I was overfilling because the lid would get loose while blending and leak the contents into the machine. Within a year, this first one would only work if I held the container down manually. It would not work at all unless I put pressure on it for the whole time. Then I received a second one as a gift. Grateful, since I thought I abused the first one. I began just adding the frozen fruit, yogurt, and juice, filled only half way, and blended it. After this was blended, I'd add the protein powder and more juice, not filled to the top, & screw the blade top on firmly. Guess what? it's still leaking into the base even when just half full. It seems that if I'm blending frozen fruit (my key ingredient), the extra work this creates jars the machine to the point that it loosens the lid. I don't think grinding frozen blueberries and strawberries with juice, only half full, should cause the lid to loosen and pour contents into the machine. After only a month of use, this new one is requiring me to hold the container while it blends or it won't turn on. I contacted the manufacturer, popped out and cleaned the three white plastic channels to keep them moving smoothly, but it has made no difference, it's still not functioning like it should. Any time saved with the Magic Bullet is eaten up by cleaning it from messy leaks almost every day. As long as you're not blending frozen fruit five days a week, you'll be ok, I think. I am pricing a replacement for the Magic Bullet."

Terrible Quality
Pros: easy to use
Cons: terrible bases
"The rubber base and plastic base break in a couple days. I have changed them so many times. Terrible product. I am so going to return this."

Lasted a week @ our house
Pros: small
Cons: cheaply made
Model Number: MBR-2501
"Good- small, powerful, easy to use and clean, very popular tool with my teenage boys!
Bad- contact points are soft rubber and plastic and wore out in a week. Granted someone probably didn't place the blade assembly on the base properly and caused it to strip out, but the product should be more durable. I took it back and we are going to try the Ninja."

Liquid or Soft food mixer only.
Pros: good for liquids and fresh fruit.
Cons: on/off is by plugging in., unable to blend frozen blueberries.
Model Number: magic bullet
"I tried to blend fresh fruit and liquids (successful),ice (somewhat successful) and frozen blueberries (very unsuccessful). The blueberries remained whole even after 2 minutes of blending. Also the only way to turn on and off is to use the plug! Very disappointed."

TERRIBLE QUALITY
Pros: small clever convenient design, many accessories
Cons: blades are not sharpened, too many accessories to store! many are useless!, doesn't break down food all the way, cannot leave motor running longer than 1 minute
"I purxhased this in the store. I've really gotten into the green smoothie thing. I've been using my food processor, which does AMAZING. However, while some love this appliance, my bar for quality and design is set quite high. I loved the idea of being able to blend my smoothie in a cup and go. I use kale, spinach or some other type of heavy greens. I blended FOREVER with this appliance using the cross blade (in bursts of less than one minute) but I still had chunks of greens. My processor gets my Smoothies ...well...SMOOTH! When I took the appliance apart to clean it, I noticed the blades are not even sharpened. I never even tried the other two blades. This will be going back. What a disappointment."

short-term happiness
Pros: convenient easy to clean
Cons: didn't last long
"I bought this to use for a shake-based diet I began 3-4 months ago. Last week the ice crusher blade broke - the rubber feet chipped off when I mounted it on the base. We called Magic Bullet customer service and they sent a replacement blade (for $3 shipping fee.) This morning the medium blade did the same darned thing. I might just take this back to Costco and see if they'll give me a store credit. Very disappointing. When it worked, it was great and super-convenient, easy to clean. But I didn't expect to have to replace the blades every couple of months. I think they need to re-design the bottom to a material other than rubber...it just doesn't last."

Great while it lasted!
"I bought this product from Costco and used it 4-5 days a week for my tennis pre-match power drink! I loved it, but 2 weeks ago it started showing signs of motor problems. Yesterday it died & I had to use my regular blender to finish my drink.
I will upgrade to the nutibullet!"

Magic Bullet
Pros: size, price
Cons: hard to use, mesy, cheaply made
"We are returning this after a few weeks. It is extremely frustrating to use as I found myself always shaking it. It wouldn't crush ice as advertised and the motor always smells like it's going to burn up. The containers leak into the motor and it is extremely hard to clean. I am interested in why people would say upgrade to the Nutri Bullet when this one wouldn't work. ??? We are trying the Ninja, but may have to splurge and save up for the Vitamix or the Blendtec."

Disappointed: Breaks with frequent use
Pros: convenient
Cons: does not hold up with frequent use, threading on jars and blade units does not work we
"I would not recommend this unit for frequent use. I bought this a year ago for the convenience. I used it occasionally over the last year. Recently I started using it several times a day for a liquid protein diet for which I am blending the drinks with ice like smoothies. After two weeks, the mechanism for the blade is wearing badly and it has begun to leak. The way the containers and blade fit into the motor is such that I can no longer use it because the leaking can access the motor."

Waste of $$$
Pros: great for soft ingredients
Cons: unable to crush frozen fruits
"I had to return this item because the blades are inefficient at blending frozen fruits. Save your money and get the high end, powerful ones. They can be expensive but they will last a lifetime."
